Hi all! I wanted to do an Instagram recap that will play into my next featured post, “Capsuling your closet”. If you are ready for a closet makeover, then stay tuned. I will talk about versatility and how you can make your clothes work with one another for more options!
In the meantime, here is a recap of some work and play outfits! These are all budget friendly options which is always an added bonus! Feel free to leave me a comment below or on Instagram.
From work to play
This striped top is a new favorite! I found it at Target from the new “Who What Wear” line. It’s so simple but chic. To change it into a night look, I love adding a moto jacket. Pair with some dark lips and you are set. Perfect for the girl on the go! P.S. this jacket was a rare find at Forever 21 from about 5 years ago. This fall I will be on the hunt for a new one, but mad props for how long this one lasted!

I love buying tops like this because they can be worn for work with dress pants or a skirt, or you can put on some casual jeans and call it a day. the material and flutter sleeves make it a timeless buy. I added these fun, fringe sandals I found at a local boutique for some extra flare. Also, did you notice how this clutch can be worn with or without a strap? I’d call that a steal for $20.
The daily grind
This look is so effortless which is one of the reasons I love it so much. It’s also extremely comfortable! The belt came with it which was an added bonus. Also, I’m wearing my wedding flats in this look! I love when I wear these–it brings back such great memories!
